Event Information
Air Evac Lifeteam is the largest independently owned and operated air medical service provider in the United States. We currently have eight
aircraft in Georgia that are based in Dublin, Vidalia, Statesboro, Jesup, Waycross, Cordele, LaGrange, and Carrollton. Our mission is to
save lives and positively impact outcomes during life- or limb-threatening medical emergencies by providing rapid access to definitive
emergency health care for people in rural America. We are membership supported, with over a million members nationwide, which allows us
to serve our communities on a tax-free unsubsidized basis. The proceeds from the 1st Annual Air Evac Lifeteam 5k Road Race will be used
to provide additional educational opportunities for the hospitals, EMS Services, and other healthcare providers that we serve. This is a
growing need in many of the areas that we serve as healthcare providers strive to keep up with the advancements in treatment of critical
patients. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the J.O.Y. Clinic in Dublin, Georgia. The J.O.Y. Clinic provides free non-emergent
medical and dental care to individuals who are unable to obtain health insurance.
If inclement weather or other natural disaster cause us to cancel the event, your entry fee will be considered a donation; you will receive your race t-shirt. No refunds will be issued.
